Got a nice haul of 4p items on a little tour of local(ish) stores today. Nothing that hasn't already been mentioned- lots of rugby socks, slippers, try by night pj's, homer bottoms, premium apparell bottoms, 1 pair of tights, and the bottoms with headphones on.
Had an amusing moment where I set the alarms off on the way out, despite SA taking off tags at self serve (he'd missed a couple!). Security guard asked for my receipt.
I was in a hurry and didn't pad my shopping out, so my receipt was for 28p for 7 items of nightwear  Luckily for me, he didn't seem to care! I whispered to him that there was a set of pj bottoms left which he might like when he gets his break. He was actually very nice and seemed very grateful.
All stores were in B*rmingham, so I can tell you that N*w Osc**t don't have anything left other than rugby scarfs and baseball caps. The newish J*wellery Qu*rt*er, F*ve W*ys and H*dge H*ll didn't have anything on display (I suspect I got there too late as the displays were VERY neat!)I got the PJ's from As*on L*ne together with one pair of tights. There was one set of XL Premium Apparell bottoms left, which I suspect the security guard will have claimed by now.
In other news, I found this today-
Finest Tarte Aux Framboises (Frozen) 470g SEL 87p (instead of £3) and scanning at 87p. Long date until 2013. Ideal for Christmas. This was in the H*dge H*ll store. Not sure if its been mentioned before?0 -
quick question for those who frequent the metro's...
what sort of stuff do they have there?
Theres one in town that I've never been too (:()...and I need to know if I need to take the car (expecting tons of goodies)...or if its just food ie a bit bigger than an express?
I'm hoping a change in store location will prove fruitful on some of the other glitches as not seen anyone on here post that they've been to this store! And I've got to go to town anyway so wont be a wasted trip!:)
If your taking about the one in Nottingham Victoria centre I wouldn't bother. They don't have much of anything. No clothes. Handful of small toys that's about it. And no scanners!!0 -
made a 2nd trip to tesco this afternoon to collect my clothing orders.
while i was there had another browse through the clothing dept. found 3 mens wool coats all with AW-10 on label (all different styles).
thought i would take them and give them a try hoping they would be cheap. Nope, all went through at correct prices. was too embarassed to get helper over to refund them all so just paid for them (£143) and will take them to CS desk tomorrow for a refund.:j0 -

Hi All.. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
Serious question.,...... has anyone had a DTD today?.. i got one, purely by mistake, on a laptop cooler fan thingy.... well, OH did... scanned at 29 i think it was, but SEL was for 13 something?? - anyway, OH went up to CS and they said that the policy on DTD has changed and they no longer to DTD????!!!!! -
He folloed all the usual MSE rules, mentioning the signage behind the counter, that the SEL was wrong, it was an over charge... etc etc.. but they still were adamant that the DTD was no longer Tescos policy??... im sure i read earlier on that someone had the same problem... but cant find the post now...?
had anyone else had this problem today? and do you think its true or was the CS just talking rubbish??????Proud Mummy to a new little girl - Phoebe... born 11 days overdue on 3rd Jan 2012.0 -

All of the 4p items I got yesterday were in amongst the normal stuff. There was a reduced rail near the till but I didn't bother to scan anything from there.
In the men's undies, socks, pj's and the ladies tights, if you look for either SS10, AW10 or even SS11 on the barcodes there is a good chance it may be reduced to 4p. Otherwise if it's to do with the Rugby World Cup that all seems to be reduced too.
HTH
I get SS10,AW10 SS11etc but I've seen two other codes in the place that these normally are. These are:S/S and Continuity. The latter I think may be non seasonal stock but can't work out S/S. Anyone know?Awaiting a new sig0
