Tried just one store today as only had an hour and ahalf to get there and look around and its 20 miles away. Chuffed as punch, got £242 worth for £1.28. All 32 items were 4p, socks, tights, lounge bottoms and even a pair of slippers! :)

I did all the socks and untagged things first in 3 shops and got them tucked safely into the car. Then at 7 minutes to 4 I took 10 lounge sets and asked the SA if she minded on SS untagging them all. Her eyebrows shot up when she saw they were 4p. I said theres plenty more, be great for the kids I said.......and she tells me she can't get off the tills to get any money or to go and have a look and would I get her 4 large ones. I said my present to you for being nice and paid for them too! She protested but I said 16p was hardly going to break the bank and she was really really busy but was a complete star.

The lady who was looking after the clothes section was less than expressed and told me to get what I wanted now as she was taking them off the shelves. I grabbed 3 more as it was 1 min to 4 but she was only aware of the lounge pants so I might pop in again tomorrow and see what else scans for 4p.

No photo as items all the items previously mentioned.

Not much doing for me today. Couldn't see the boxers or the socks. Didn't have time for a proper look, had DD and OH it tow, seemed like a good idea at the time ;) Did get the Frootz though, both discounts coming off, so many thanks to the OP for that one, got six packets for £1.15, not as good as the last glitch, but still pretty good because I certainly wouldn't pay £2.09 for a box of 5!! ;)

Are there any lovely peeps on this thread who are from the Elgin area or who frequent that branch of Mr T's? Got a day to myself next week ( ;) ) and was thinking of taking a trip through there for a wee change and was wondering if it's any good and if it has any scanners for potential bargains?! ;):D TIA if there is anyone!

Not many bargains to be had here. They are on ball I reckon. I went in today with all the pictures of pj's, socks etc and they had none! Didn't manage to get any toys when they were glitching or the casserole dishes. Only thing I managed to get was the Toy Story gift bags a couple of weeks ago. There is a self scanner upstairs in the clothing, beside the baby girls clothes.

Good luck and pls let me know if you find anything (and leave some for me :) )
A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist

    Score by Night PJ's 4p in Sw*nd*n today :T:T

Also found a random single pair of mens jersey boxers - grumpy old gits written all over them - black with white writing - marked £7, reduced to £3.50, scanned at.... you've guessed it..... 4p!!! :T Only the one pair there though.

Was in a mega rush so unfortunately did not get a chance to trawl through the rest of the pjs and pants - maybe tomorrow :)

To anyone getting the 4p pj's....there are security tags in both the tops and bottoms. I set the alarms off three times before the cs eventually removed them all :D
Fortunately she didn't ask to see my reciept!

Evening all just back from a Tesco away day, my OH decided to join me today and to be honest we had a really good day.

Got my first DTD on BT Quad phones but it wasn't really a DTD. I went back in and they said no problem insert your card and next thing i know the full amount is back on my card but they didn't give me DTD as such but "product free" i asked what this meant and was told by the girl that as i had been over charged Tesco's new policy is that you get the product free i asked about DTD and she said no we have stopped it !!!!!

I also found some brilliant 4p items mainly men's wear

The one below is the kids outfit offer which starts off with the top being £15 and the jeans £7 but the outfit in total is on offer for £7 but the 25% off knitwear kicks in - this comes off the £15 price for the jumper so in effect you only pay £3.25 in total for the jeans and jumper together

Well part success today :j, Mood Dough Ocean pals £2.00 at Sl0ugh Xtra....err...sorry....scooped the last couple as xmas presents.

lso found another larger Grocery Store Moon Dough set for £1.50 (will check details and bar code later). It was on the top shelf and looking a bit battered - checked the other boxes on the shelf and they'd all had the barcode stickered over and scanned at full price (this one had no sticker over the barcode).

No casserole dishes and Mr Muscle full price (though not bad at £1.98 BOGOF). Sacla red wine scanning at 99p though still full price on the SEL (all others full price). Tons of 17p lasagne sheets (just picked up one) and lots of wholewheat penne which I assume is 22p still but we've got so much I didn't need any.

Guy in front of me managed to puchase a mens woolen coat (black) for 4p  The SA called the store manager but they let him have it, said there is a lot of mis-priced items atm but they don't know what's what (great inventory mgmt then :rotfl:) Sorry, can't give barcode details as he left the store rather quickly :rotfl::rotfl:

However, after my inital excitement, I got refused the use of my APG vouchers (til wouldn't accept them and CS said they'd never accepted them - RUBBISH ) also wouldn't let me use 2 x £5 off £40 depite me spending £80-odd, so I was basically charged £20 more than I should have :mad::mad: email gone off to Mr Clarke and if I don't get a result there will be returns being made.
