Many thanks to everyone who has posted pics and descriptions of the reduced menswear. Managed to get some mens rugby trunks, pyjamas, 2 types of rugby socks, and Best Grandad socks...all 4p a pair. Was going like the clappers getting them through the self scan and paying in case I got trouted! :D

Have you checked them for security tags or did you manage to get them removed???? Sometimes they are quite hidden!!!.... i've quite easily walked out the store TWICE with tags still on, presuably alarm went off?..... and walked back in twice, setting off the alarm! One time it took a couple of mins for security lady to find me standing there looking for him/her..... and on the other occasion I set off the alarm, gave up waiting for security, and had to FIND a member of staff myself because I had set off the alarm . Obviously far too trusting round these parts :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • Thanks Nikkilala, unfortunately they didn't have any left so the hunt goes on.

    Congratulations Ruxpin :)

Just got back from my trip to br@cknell homeplus, was well worth the trip. Got 2 x 8p casserole dishes, 4 x 4p 2 packs boxer shorts, 1 x 4p jeans and 1 x £3 converse style trainers (had a £5 SEL) :D

They had lots of vans style and converse style trainers SEL £5 but were scanning at £3. Not the real thing but at that price you can't turn it down lol. Also an OOD SEL on a Technika iPod dock SEL £29.97 dated 24/10/2012.

Lastly they were selling the HTC Wildfire S on PAYG for £110, not sure what network it was on or if it was network free. I think it's s pretty good deal but unfortunately didn't have the money to buy it :(

Possibly the jeans in the pic had the AW10 code and the ones you picked up had the AW11 code... just a thought????
Can anyone shed any further light?????
might be because it's a Scottish store, they have different pricing for some reason...

What a wasted trip I had today! Only thing I got was a Polly Pocket thingy for 40p! Did pick up a pair of Playboy boxers, white ones in a packet, at 4p but the young lad I had chosen at checkout went for his break before serving me and the woman noticed! Oh well you cant win them all!

As long as they are not stolen they can't prove they are, so yes take them back or try getting it off yourself, think someone said you can use tweezers on here the other day.
It's happened to me a few times, as long you have them in a T's bag they're ok, what puzzles me more is why they don't go off at the barrier ??

Royal blue jumper with checked shirt peeping out, grey Cardigan with shirt peeping out (around £14.50) express yourself boys jeans.
It has to be those specific jumpers to
    get the glitch :)
