Hiya Czerchy, missed ya;) Good luck with the interview tomorrow. Suddenly had a funny image of you in my head, riding home with a huge joint of pork stuck in a basket on the front;) Don't ask why but it tickled me:)
hhmmm.. ...I think it may be the combination of the words going for a ride with a huge pork stuck in the front that did it!:p0 -
Maybe I've misunderstood- you got them from Tesco and took them back to Asda?
If so, this is called refund theft- which includes getting a refund or exchange from a company you did not buy the goods from. It's not just "a bit cheeky", it's totally dishonest, and could land you in a lot of trouble. I don't think it's in the spirit of MSE to encourage this kind of behaviour.
Forgot to say in my post i bought them from Morrisons but will say no more of it if it's not in the spirit of MSE to encourage this kind of behaviour.0 -

Hellloooo:)
I ended up emailing a strong termed email to philip clarke last night. In amongst the email i mentioned all this could have been prevented if there was scanners in my store, meant purley as an aside however, this was my reply this morning...
'Dear Ms xxxx
Thank you for your email addressed to our Chief Executive, Philip Clarke, to which I have been asked to respond.
I was sorry to learn of your recent experience at the L****** Extra store. I appreciate how disappointed you must have been.
To respond to your complaint and answer your query regarding the scanners I have contacted Simon Court, the Store Manager requesting he investigate the matter. As soon as I receive a response I will be back in touch.
Thank you for your patience.
Kind Regards
Elaine Mollison
Customer Service Executive'
Lets hope something comes of this:( my mum feels really guilty/stupid as she told the SA there were more on the shelf without thinking. But even so, the sa's attitude was still unacceptable refusing the first never mind taking the last two off the shelf?:(
I'll keep you updated on what happens:).
Having a T free day today i think although I may have to venture back later on

Desperate for one for Grandson. Cheers.
Welcome to Salford! I'm sorry, I don't know about the bed guards but the Walkden store is excellent and never very crowded. The staff in there are really friendly too. It is very easy to find -- go along the A580 (the East Lancs Road) and it's the first traffic lights after the junction with the M61. Am dyslexic with numbers so can't remember but it's something like the A675 -- but check the map! You need to be in the right lane and it's a right filter so easy to turn right. Follow that road, past a small roundabout where it becomes one way and at the first lights (I think) -- a crossroads with a main road, probably dual carriageway -- turn left. It is signed 'shopping centre', but you may not spot that. Stay in the right lane and turn right into the shopping centre after a fast food place. (Sorry, can't remember if it's McDonalds or KFC or what!) You'll see the Tesco petrol station ahead, but turn right again fairly quickly and then right again into a car park which is underneath the shops. If you go around 8pm there are loads of whoopsies!0 -
