Well Im off to Warwick tomorrow to take supplies down to my son at Uni... Of course on the way I will be visiting a few Tescos..
Are they any good over in Coventry???
for glitches and bargains, I mean??
I frequent the Coventry stores, the cross point store is ok, but they are really horrible about coupons and will scrutinise every t & c before letting you use it.
The Ricoh store is quite big and has things like the impulse sets and I got lots of pet stuff there. No casserole dishes i'm afraid.
The store closest to warwick uni (cannon park) is a bit smaller, but they seem more lax with pricing. However, I think the students get the best bits there!0 -

To be honest, South Warks is a bit of a write off. Back in the day of R&R, it was reasonable pickings, but since then, there's too many people fighting over a smallish patch.
X point is okay, but being so close to M69, M6 means it's too accessible to be good for anyone who isn't quick off the mark. Dont bother with the Ricoh - never found that much and wrong side for me. Cannon park hasn't got a a scanner so you run a risk every time you purchase, and it isn't large enough to stock anything but key lines.0 -
woohoo!
Tesco delivery ....12 packs of Super Bock @ 88p substituted for 10 packs of Estrella and 2 packs of Tyskie both costing £5 per pack......price match refund 49.35! Shame maximum order was 12 packs!
I love this site!YNWA JFT96 :A0 -
lunch?? at 3.45pm???
:rotfl:
out of interest...what did you have? lol
Went out last night so got up late, had breakfast late so wasnt hungry at normal time and so the story goes......
...unfortunately it means I will end up hungry again at about 9pm and end up eating too late or going to bed with a rumbling stomach :-(
Had three bean canneloni (sp?), got when on special from Asda, and as Mr Reformed is visiting his granny, no need to make pots and pans dirty0 -
French_Knickers wrote: »Originally posted on the grabbit board by locarr so thanks to them, but worth repeating here as I think its a really good deal!! Castrol GTX 15w40 motor oil 2 litre bottles are SEL'd at £3 in tesco garages. For anyone who services their own car, this is a steal. OH duly bought 24 of them earlier and got staff discount too!
I tried this in my local today, SEL £12.99 scanned at £12.99.
You wanna do a swap with a couple?
BTW I got that case for you today... you text too slow to wait about for you! :rotfl:0 -

Are you sure you checked it was the 15w40 ?
the 10w40 is still £12.99...the packs are very similar!"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin
