Posted over on grabbit thanks to omas..Hi, I've been refused Aldi's £5 off £30 coupon at Tesco Copdock. After contacting customer service that's what they said:
Dear Sebastian
Thank you for contacting us.
I am very sorry that you are unhappy with our decision to stop accepting competitor coupons in our stores and I would like to explain the reasons behind this.
We have carried out a lot of research into finding out what our customers want when they go shopping, and the feedback shows that one of the key things is lower prices. We are very committed to helping our customers spend less at the checkout, so we have taken this feedback on board and have already dropped the price of 3000 popular lines.
We would not have been able to invest so heavily in our Big Price Drop without reviewing some of our current offers and unfortunately, the acceptance of competitor coupons was something that we could not sustain. However, we believe that our customers will welcome cheaper prices over being able to use an occasional competitor coupon.
From now on, we accept all Tesco and supplier/product coupons as long as you have purchased the product, and we will continue to issue and accept Tesco Price Check coupons on the rare occasion that your shopping is cheaper at Asda.
Thank you for taking the time to contact us. I hope this information is helpful.
Kind Regards
Julie Inwood

Just got back , there was lots of the 6 rolls of Plenty although I did have climb up to the Top to get them , £1.84 each . The soft Grip pegs that have been mentioned were priced at £2.27 but scanned at £2.60 , which I thought was strange ,seeing the 3p price difference is what others were being charged in total iykwim . Online the Bock Larger was showing at 88p for my store , so imagine my delight when I saw it on the shelves . But atlas it scaned at £3 something . On the way home I popped into my local Express to look for the Stella , just 3 packs left with £4.18 each 2 for £6 sell , so picked up 2 and went to s s till . Man behind tapped me on the arm and said make sure you get the discount , so I smiled at him sweetly and thanked him . But discount did not come off at all , They must have rectified the glitch twice :rotfl: So got DTD instead , so still paid the same , after £4.56 refund.Never pay more than you have too0

I went to P@@le FBridge today. No luck with the casseroles or packs of pans. Also no packs of the reduced frozen BBQ food.
The Pringles were scanning at 99p and the Andrex £5.
But I did get the coconut and vanilla shower creams for 12p, and the wholewheat penne for 22p.
Could someone please tell me the details of the organic pasta sauce, and the sausage rolls if I'm not too late!
Hi debsjc, How long are you down for?
Both Poole extras were cleared out of the frozen BBQ food about week ago before they were reduced further. Had been waiting for that one. All replaced with the Christmas stock.
I'm afraid I had the last of the right casseroles at Fl**tsbr*dg* but did notice boxes on top shelf at T*w*r P*rk top shelf and wool27 got some down and right barcode. Still some there yesterday but don't know if right barcode as it's a completely different code on brown box. Ones on shelf scan full price.
Both stores had stock of the Tesco Organic Arrabiatta sauce 45p and SEL same last time I looked. Would say TP had more. Sausage rolls scanned at full price at TP yesterday. HTHs0
