  • Off topic question,

I did my laundry (bedding) yesterday. I'm still working my way through the liquitabs I got from Makro some years ago when they had 3 boxes of 56 washes for £10+VAT. I haven't even started on the several boxes of tablets that were equally as cheap. However 5 of the liquitabs were stuck together so I stuck a nail in to two of them and squeezed them into the soap drawer. Also put in the Lenor Softener into the correct drawer but I always put in more than necessary. My chocolate coloured pillow cases all have some kind of sheen on them. Too much soap or too much softener or both? It rubs off, kind of when it's dry but when I took them out the machine they looked like a snail had slithered all over them.

We're allowed to go O/T on here;) It's too much washing liquid and also check your door on the washing machine. If you put too much liquid in it builds up and collects around the door and the opening of the washing machine, then when you pull them out that adds to the snail trails:rotfl:Wash them again with no liquid and a bit of fabric softener.

Probably a combination of the 2. I'd stick em back in on a rinse/quick wash and that should sort it out.

Back to T's, got a nice DTD on a 3 for £12 wine SEL. £6.99 a bottle, so bought 3 cost £21, so got £18 back, so £1 a bottle.

Also have aquired more than one of the 1p footy magazines on request from some other people so will be dishing them out shortly.
  • And todays discussion will be "washing":rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'll leave them this time, washing them again would cost money in electricity.:D

No it's not, I've got something else I want to ask....

I love my Cookie Monster dearly but I want Oscar the Grouch. I have searched and searched but I can not find one along the same lines as CM.

I don't know how old he is, I've had him for a few years and I got him from a charity shop so he could have been quite old then.

Does anyone have any ideas where I could get Oscar from.
