I meant to say, I got my shelving unit from B&Q for £10 reduced from £18. No idea how long that offer was on for though.0 -

A young age is when it needs to be diagnosed so they can cater for him and his needs. More to make him more comfortable/feel at ease than anything else and also so the teachers can understand why he says and does certain things. I was a little s h i t at school and flunked school big time but I wasn't diagnosed until I was 22/23. I feel had I been diagnosed sooner then I might not have done so badly at school. I also blame the Scottish education system but that's another story.
Try Googling National Autistic Society and see if they can put you in touch with someone close that might be able to help.0 -

Maybe they are bigger ones? I know B&Q had bigger ones but they were more expensive. Plus if you go through Quidco and do click and collect you got a small amount of cash back.
Ah, it's back up to £18

if you have any concern sweetie then push the issue with the school my nephew was diagnosed at 4 due to the fantastic nursery teacher who didn't brush my sisters concerns under the rug
he now gets extra support at school and is doing fantastic

He may also be eligible for some form of disability benefits but trying to get them these days with all the 'austerity cuts' would be difficult without having a Social Worker.0
