Morning all,
Didn't get chance to pop in yesterday as had to head off to Portsmouth first thing with spare pair of glasses for DD1 as she had hers taken off her by some stupid person in a club who thought it would be funny not to give them back.
Anyway had to do a "blind" trip to Ts while there, excuse the pun as had not had chance to come on here first. Very excited when found the battery chargers I have been looking for those and 2 were just sitting there on the shelf for me. :T Didn't know whether to try the pasta/rice/galaxy glitches as I was not sure whether they were still working if you were lucky. Found SEL for the Ambrosia Apple Crumble Pots for 16p but none in stock, and the Rasberry jelly in custard were same SEL but none of those either. (Have enough jelly and custard anyway but mum likes the crumble pots.)
Had to rush back as mum had an appointment to have her hair done but when I got back it had been cancelled and all I could think about were all the Ts on the way back I could have leisurely stopped at.
Thanks Wool27 got some of those Zubber things, they were still where you said and 4 still left after I got some. Glad you got some Impulse and do I have to take my glasses to see the Lasagne at TP now? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I'm sure there was not any there night before when I was picking up my whoopsies!
By the way Apple crumble pots scanning full price at Fl**tsbr*dge, could not try them or sausage rolls as scanner was not working at TP the other night so I may have missed out on 1p ones. Are peeps still finding them and if so what sort of stores are they lucky in?
No sun for me today by looks of thing have finally put the heating on so got to save the pennies now. :eek:0 -
I hope that's not true. I got a £4 off £40 in Sainsbobs yesterday for spending the grand sum of £4.99. I'm hoping for some DM vouchers this weekend so I can combine them.
Will ask her today but I fear she's not of the South Pacific persuasion. I dont' recall her or dad ever watching things like that when I was a kid.
My Mum & Dad had the album, is it "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Out Of My Hair?"0 -

Thank you for that thought. Despite my dissagreeing with some aspects of this thread, which I've posted about and we'll just have to agree to differ,I find your post refreshing and uplifting. I hope Im fit enough to go for the interview but if I don't get the job It's not a major problem. I just thought heres a great chance to be an insider for a short while in the Tesco system so I can pass on useful info. The sacrifices I make to help others!
Don't get your hopes up though as there are hundreds of applicants for the few jobs available and in some ways I hope the jobs go to those who desperatly need them rather than someone like myself who will interview well.
Talking of Tesco I would just like to clear something up about my being a Tesco shareholder> I think I've only mentioned it a couple of times in relevant posts but I found myself being attacked by someone who said I should stop going on about it. The reason I mentioned it is that over on the pure money threads that I mainly frequent it is protocol/courtesy to declare your interests. e.g. if you are a financial advisor you have to declare it I have got used to doing that but it seemed to cause a few people problems over hereI read your post with interest.I left a Catering Supervisors jobs last year,I had worked hard to get it and was given it on merit.I would often work 45+ hrs.I had 3 grown up children and hubby at home.Within weeks of me leaving my two daughters left home.I tried two jobs within very good companies but was not happy and left them too.I have an interveiw next week.I have found it hard to move on and often think what if,but that`s not getting me anywhere.Chin up and be happy,no one knows what tomorrow will bring.

Eileen it was Artha's post, not Qpranger, they quoted it but for some reason it looked like they wrote it;)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0
