where/how are you scanning these ??..

if i am just being thick please do tell me!!.. .. happy if anyone could/would just take the time to private message me to bring me up to speed on what i need to do to find/claim these bargains i have read page after page but still dont really know what i need to do ;-(

    Thanks in advance

Lots of stores have price check scanners located around the store , they are to be found on pillars . If your store does not have one you can check the price on the self service tills .This is good for checking for DTD (double the difference) If the item scanns for more than the Sel (shelf edge lable)Then if you purchase it you should get DTD . Keeps reading the thread and it will soon all make sense .
Never pay more than you have too

Ok, I've got 4 pages to catch up but I'll just update my results from today's trip :D

    A veeryyy goood one! :D

Soo I went to the vacuum building first and scanned an awful lot of items without any good finds(well 3ximpulse minis), I got some bagels but the SA scanned the wrong item and I just had to go to CS for 80p dtd  chicken didn't have any stickers, no 1p bags or wrapping paper...

So after that it was wembl*y

I felt like in heaven... I got 2x4pack of pilsner glasses(sel on a big stash of them half price ended 11/10:eek:), then I got 2x4pack T finest champagne flutes  again very ood sel... paid 2.xxgbp for each and it scanned at 14.00 should be 8.xx
Plus 8 pack of nicely stickered chicken fillets... :D
For the first time ever I braved 3 dtds in one go and I'm approaching CS to see the same guy who served me with the frootz(x9!):o
At least I didn;t have to remind him of the dtd policy! :rotfl:
He wasn't talking to me exept for what he had to but I got my money back and didn't get banned so I don't care... :p He didn't even call any managers whatsover, only the chilled food guy after I showed to him all my 8 stickered pack of chicken...
Again I scanned lots of items(ca.30 different packs of wrapping paper just to see if something comes up as 2p, some car air freshners and some toys...)
Oh, I also got 4 more toy story bags(2 left there!) and the SA said "oh 1p, that's a bargain!" LOL
Soo that was a very very good shop of moi... but all in all it took me 4 hours to get back home after I went out and bf said "you always tell me lies when you go to Tesco, you said it will be 1-2 hours!" LOL I meant in each store... :p

OK, I'm off to catch up... ;)

    Wow, Czerniacha!!!!

    I am impressed.

I found one lonely stickered chic fillets so I paired it with an unstickered one.

Had fun with the clothing til spits today though. Managed to get 3x 5p off a litre tickets too.

Love it when I go somewhere new. My boldness knows no bounds. Local, that's a different matter entirely.

Surely your OH was impressed when you explained your bargain bags to him tho!! B
