Better get cracking with my chair building *groans*
Why did I have to buy 8 dining chairs?
Why did I have to get the budget ones that don't have matching screw holes?!
Mind you, I did get the ebayer to drop prices from
£140 to £95 for the lot!!!
As they are the tall backed faux leather ones, it is worth it. The B&M ones were £59 for 2!!! They were faux leather too!
Enough of my ramblings....
See you when I check in after my next chair is constructed!!!:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

I'm ok guys thanks for asking
Not my usual trouting experience!
Finished work early
Went to reclaim a LARGE amount of money that I found in a local T's car park and handed in
Was told when I handed it in if no one claimed in 28 days I could keep it
Today CS first refused said would be given to charity then another said no she gets to keep, then after a conflab they decided 6-8 wks
HO said I can't claim it at all and all unclaimed cash goes to charity?!
And they say honesty pays
TBH I handed it in because I wouldn't gave felt good about myself keeping it and would probably be giving away to charity but would have liked to choose myselfGRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED
Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!0 -
Id phone the police!
Tell them what you were told when you handed it in.
The police always give the finder unclaimed cash.
We all know what charity Tesco CS give to....:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

this in itself summarises why i dont feel guilty about Tesco glitches!!....buying 192 choc oranges cant be any worse than this!
I bet you had no say in what charity it went to? neither will you get proof of the donation
I'd be tempted to go to a Police Station with a large cash find....assuming the 'finders keepers' rule hasnt changed yet0 -
back from my little T trip... well, it took me ages as I got lost again and went too far...
no more free rice/risotto for mechecked two local expresses but despite the 2for2gbp sels in place it went through at the correct price... so much for my sel theory...

Thank goodness you're okay, celebrate. I was worried with the cryptic first message!
You must be really pee'd off though and wish you'd handed it in to the police station instead. Like you, I couldn't have kept it either but well done for handing it in. I would be writing to the CEO and insisting that you at least get to choose the charity.
And I feel sorry for the person/people that lost it. What happens if they turn up after 28 days?0 -
