Hi everyone, sorry to barge in
I've just posted a small glitch on the pilgrims choice cheddar thread, it's taking off extra discount, only a few pennies but every little helps :rotfl:. Works out at 91p per pack. Was wondering if maybe some of you 'experts' (;)) may be able to shed some light on the maths - maybe I've got it wrong:eek:.
I'll pop back into lurkedom now :cool:xx

I am moving this weekend and just looking for the best option for bradband... I don't think there is a phone line already(but I'll check) so anyone has any idea what's my best option?
I was thinking about O2 and using my friend as "current customer" for the discount(for the all rounder tarif) and going through Quidco for 100gbp cashback... They are charging just over 40 quid for the phone line too... The only problem is when I had a look first it looked like 6.25/month with discount and now it's 20  might use my bf's laptop and see again as it's probably remembered through cookies now and I can't go back to where I was...I'm not very techie...
Anyone knows a better option and/or can recommend something?
(I know it's not the right thread to ask this but you're my favs and I have faith in you!)
Do you have virgin in your area? Thats what we went with.
£150 cashback and £100 onto first bill which I dont think is beatable.
At the moment you get £150 cashback from quidco and you also get 6 months half price.
If you work that you for say on the cheapest bundle of 10mb broadband M tv package and M phone comes to around £32 per month
first 6 months at half price for £16 and free installation so £96 for first 6 months and £192 for the remainder.
Then with your cashback the whole year works out at £1380 -
Do you need a phone line?
Who is your current broadband with?
Are you still tied into that contract if you move?
How much do you download if anything or is it just for browsing the web?
How long do you want to be tied into your new contract?
Sorry lots of questions but I could ask more....czerniacha wrote: »home broadband please...?

and if noone checks out the oral b vitality toothbrushes for me until noon I WILL TRY FOR MY NEXT STAR!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Stop tempting me I'm supposed to be working;) are you moving far?Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
not far, don't worry
It'll be Acton
no phone line there I think and no broadband atm so no contract I'm in...
it'll be mostly for browsing the internet, not much of downloading, mostly MSE
my head hurts from all it now...
1mmaker: Virgin seems a bit expensive still... especially if the cashback doesn't pay... (the post office credit card didn't even track so I'm not sure now...)but I'll check it out just in case...
anyone has any experience with the O2 then?0 -

We use O2 and find it very good.
Have used Virgin in the past and wouldn't recommend - had lots of downtime and customer service was cr*p0
