Been poorly the last few days - but catching-up on this thread has cheered me up no end.

Well done to all of you - whether you have "glitched" or not smileythumbsup.gif

It is obvious that this thread is more than just a bunch of guys and gals discussing Tesco. Everyone is so friendly and supportive to each other and this helps to get through life's ups and downs.

The chat and banter is built on this foundation of "togetherness" and invokes a great cammaraderie.

    Long may it continue :j

Now - just got to face a trout today with my JTD voucher 34-1.gif

    Morning all

I had an appointment in Wales yesterday so i planned my route back taking in 12 Tesco Extra's - like you do, and overall had a really good day. I didn't get stuff from all of them but what i did get was -

Tesco C*rd*ff - not sure what it was called and receipt in car - near an industrial area on a river bank - 2 x "wipe your paws" mats £1.50 each, 1 x lindam bed guard 50p, 2 x Green & Blacks chocolates £2??? also left plenty of each behind.

Tesco Extra R*sc* not far from N*wp*rt - Salter digital kitchen scales £3?? Black and Decker tools - various from £10 - £14, again left lots of each on the shelves.

Tesco Extra Br*dl*y St*k* - i knew something was going on here by the amount of people with baskets full of TCO's so asked a couple of ladies and they told me, asked if they were friends of "Martins" and they said yes, so hello to you if your reading and thanks for the tip off - 30 assorted TCO's.

Tesco Extra E*stg*at* near M32 - Sony E-readers - saw them in a glass cabinet at the back of the store, i asked for a price check and they came up at over one hundred and seventy pounds!!!! - not for me at that price. Did get a very nice JBL ipod dock for £34 - instead of £129, they also had lots of the "Gear" ones reduced to £10 with the SEL stating reduction. I was looking again in the glass cabinet and noticed that the boxes were different on some of the E Readers so asked the SA to check the prices on the other boxes - WHOOPEE !!! £17 each so i got two !!! i ended up using my £5 till split off £50 spend and they also had a pile of student discount leaflets so used a £5 off £50 electrical spend so my little stash cost me £58, sorry didn't leave any E readers but lots of docks!!!

Tesco Extra Br*sl*ngt*n 1 got 2 x 12 packs of sharpies; in a box on shelf marked half price £6.50 in stead of £13, needless to say not at all surprised they went through at full price so a nice little DTD to keep your eyes open for.

    Tesco Homeplus H*ngr*v*
Tom Tom Go live 740 - lonely box sat on the shelf - price checked at £30 so used my £20 off till split on Tom Tom so got it for the grand price of a tenner !! picked up a Easy fill russell hobbs iron but it went through at £17odd and also impulse mini's but they went through at £3 odd each so those will be going back to my local tomorrow for a refund.

    Tesco W*st*n Sup*r m*r*
I got three "Cars 2" clam shell pencil case thingy's SEL £4 went through at £8 each so luckily managed to get DTD on each as apparently wrong barcode should have been "Cars" not "Cars 2", so all three free after DTD - thanks Mr T

In my local i picked up three doggy toy balls for 9p each !!

Eventually arrived home at 9pm last night after leaving at 8.30 this morning, just goes to show there are still bargains to be found out there!!! so happy hunting all xxx

I don't think it's so much some stores... as different packaging, info on front....???? I don;t have my list to hand so can't give exact info, but I looked in 2 stores today and niether had the 'correct' ones. I'm sure someone will post what you need to know soon.... these 'elite' are a very clever bunch! :D

Right, this time i'm defo off to bed.. night night all...... Again!

I don't think it is the packaging - I've found the ones with the right barcode and they scan at £8 for me. There is a different one that scans at £11. The only thing I can think of is that they are phasing it out of some stores, maybe the smaller Superstores?
