Edit: and one poster ran back and removed their thanks! Yup you knew it was wrong tooI made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -

Celebrate & Tinyshoes - thanks for the posts. Took a sinus tablet at lunchtime and that combined with a trip to Ts seems to have helped. I got vertigo years ago (a bad cold plus a long haul flight) but this feels different. I don't feel like I'm on a boat, more staggering sideways and my head feeling fuzzy. I don't get this sensation too often but I find that my ear(s) usually feel like they're blocked like when you've been swimming. Should really get to the docs but I only ever go when it to do with the kiddos. I've just finished my antibiotics for a chest/sinus infection. The joys of giving up smoking - seriously, I've never had so many health problems!
My stomach is churning and it's nothing to do with half the honeycomb TCO I've just eaten. I can't believe that tomorrow a judge (I think there's actually 3 there) will make another decision that will dictate when I have to let the ex see the boys. I know he'll get overnights at some stage and may even be allowed to take them out of the country but I never thought these decisions would be taken out of my hands. I just hope to god the judge sticks to his comments from last time and says the boys are too young to even entertain the thought of overnights and I can get on with my life for a few more months.
Do you reckon I could bribe the judges with TCOs? What about batteries or maybe Honey Shreddies? Or should I push the boat out and offer up custard/jelly?0 -

If it where me, I'd be making friends. In my experience Big Camp Jessies love shopping and love bargains, so could be a very useful allie!
Anyways, 48 normal Choc Oranges for me, as that is all my local have. Got 6 to check on the SS, then did another 18 straight away as that emptied the shelf. Put them in the boot then went back in and asked a SA if they had anymore, and he asked how many I wanted - "18or 24 " I said and he came out with 2 pack still in sellophane.
Went to the till via stationary aisle for a couple of Pukka Pads then though I would just go through a till as didn't want to unwrap my sealed packs.
She scans them and the pukka's hits the button "£8.50" she said I give her my clubcard and wallop in my debit card and pin. As it is processing she stops staring into space and focusses on the screen, then stares at it, then grabs the receipt as it prints and the sale is wiped from her screen.
"how much? What happened? How? what?" she says, dumbfounded.
"yeah, I know" says I "you should get some for yourself".
She acted like she never heard me - "I can't let this go through, not like this" she said, calling the customer service bloke over. He looks at the receipt, says "oh yeah, both offers are coming off"
"well can we let them go like that?" she asks
"I have already paid" I chipped in
"yeah, it's one of those things" says customer service guy as he gives me receipt.
So was kinda funny, as I knew that as soon as I had paid they where mine and there was nothing they could do, so just enjoyed watching the faces as £57.20 was wiped off the receipt.
But I need to keep a low profile in that store as the Cust service bloke tonight was the same that did me 4 Bakugan DTD's, some Olive DTD's and also something else the other week too.........
Also found the tvstand/coffee table, some of the £5.10 straighteners, Game of life at £4.99 and 4 x 12 Andrex.0 -
