I have become aware that not many employers seem to be aware of the fact that code 0T must now be used from April 2011.

Also applies where pension received by employee.

    In the majority of cases the effect is will be the same though, taxed at 20% on all income from that source. I suppose in a few cases it will stop people who are too lazy to check their own tax situation from whinging when they get a big bill but again many will be stuck in the middle where they should be paying 40% but still will not be. Seems like a typical HMRC non fix for a non existant problem.
