tesco extra £astbourne petrol, (extra free)

the petrol pumps are giving out too much petrol.:j:j a chappie is there correcting the problem but it will take 5 hours to do all the pumps. he is doing the pumps nearest argos first. run girls and guys

    Might be worth the trip if you are very local however considering most Tesco Extra forecourts can serve in excess of 30,000+ customers per week the fact that it is 'only' costing Tesco £1,000 a month [£250 per week] would indicate that not very much is being given away free....

    Or to put it another way £250 divided by 30,000 customers = £0.008p worth of free petrol per customer!

  • The petrol in Tesco is currently 1.2p more expensive than Asda which is just up the road. In addition I read in the newspaper this morning that Asda are further reducing petrol by 2p from this morning so potentially petrol is 3.2p per litre cheaper so all rush to Tesco for the "free" :cool: petrol if you want!
