Hi all
Does anyone have a list (or can point me in the direction of one) of all the banks that are linked (like RBS and Natwest etc etc).
I've just opened a new account with A&L but need to check its not linked to the RBS.
Thank you kindly

Thats the one from Payplan's site.
Link means where 2 banks are connected - such as MBNA and Abbey National. This means they have the right if necessary to take money from one account and it in another if you owe them money.
ie money owed, but not paid to MBNA - so MBNA can take money out of your Abbey account to pay MBNA - thats called "Right to Offset".Debt is not the be all and end all. There is always a solution!0 -
Excellent - thanks very much.

ermmm no they cant. MBNA have absolutely nothing to do with Abbey banking, they only administer their credit card. They have no link to the Abbey accounts (current, savings or other), and therefore are unable to take money from the account. (and i work there:sad: )No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

So how do I stand with a Virgin CC but an A&L account? Any ideas? Can Virgin take the money for my cc from my A&L account?
Cheers
