For various reasons, I am now short £80 per month. I have reduced shopping etc and reviewed all direct debits and this is where I am. How easy (or possible) is it to make £80 per month in your spare time? Any recommendations?

Hi, I have been doing mystery shopping for the last few years to earn extra money.
There is a mystery shopping thread on the up your income board with all the information about it. I made £157 last month, so it is possible.
Hope this helps0 -
I make about £20 pm doing surveys.
I also make about £200 pm from eBay but you either need clutter to clear out or to find a product that not many others are selling.0 -
Have you thought about direct selling? Avon, Bodyshop, Jamie at Home etc? I do Scentsy and love it, and I find the rewards excellent. There are also surveys as suggested, I used to do all of them, but got fed up with being kicked out right at the end after spending 20mins or so working on them. Now I only do a couple of the better ones who don't tend to kick you out on a whim. You can make money though if you have the time to put into doing them, most rewards tend to be gift vouchers though not cash. Also, getting to know the ebay market, checking out charity shops/boot sales ect and getting things that you think you will be able to sell on for a profit. You can also sign up to the product testing sites, you don't make money doing this, but I can't remember the last time I needed to buy a moisturiser/eye cream ect cause I get them from doing the product testing. Or do all of the suggestions and make loads lol. Good Luck x:dance: :dance:0

My wife and I make a little bit of extra cash from ebay, but not too much. You really have to find a product that not many people are selling.
We tried doing some home packing as well for a direct mail company (stuffing envelopes and packages), but the work isn't that regular.
We also recently started selling loft insulation. It's free and doesn't cost the home owner anything. The company pay us £30 commission per sale. We just spoke to friends in the area.0 -

Hey, I'm new to posting but I've been lurking reading the boards for ages now, just wondering if you don't mind me asking, how did you get into the whole loft insulation thing, sounds like a good deal!0 -
Bar job? Weekend work for an agency? There's some work around now, as companies are gearing up for Christmas, so you may pick something up if you ask around.Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0

I have a friend who owns a loft insulation business and he suggested I give it a try.0 -

Hi, can you please give me details of the company you worked for? I also need some extra cash. I have full time job and I am studying so home job would be perfect. How much did you earn? How long it took you? many thanks.0 -
At the moment am making a few hundred extra a month (varies month to month) so £80 so should be very doable. The things I do:
survey sites
mystery shops
used to do ebay a few months ago
traffic surveys
matched betting (this a big earner but need a bit of start up for it)
rent out parking space
I do these because I need fairly flexible things as I have a lot of other commitments but previously have also done bar work/evening work and there are threads on here for home work with places like Arise or Teletech if you can commit to a certain amount of hours a week.0
