After speaking to payplan (so good to do that) they agreed that an IVA would prob be unsuitable and are arranging A DMP (quite happy with this)..
The Debt counsellors have said they are sending my case of to their Insolvency Practitioners today how can i stop this it is not too late is it!!! I feel so foolish about applying for the IVA now and really want to stop it happening?

Not sure if I have got this right. Payplan said you are not suitable for an IVA and they are doing an DMP but you don't want to do a DMP? DMPs are not the same as an IVA it is an informal arrangment with your creditors and there are no fees so I cannot see what you have to loose by them looking into it.
Call them and ask them exactly what they are doing for you better to be clear now than later on.Moved to Denmark for FIRE by Aug 2025 “May your decisions reflect your hopes not your fears”

No I was on aDMP with the CCCS and let it fall to the wayside due a worsening financial situation panicked (instead of telling the CCCS) and thought about an IVA with the "Debt Counsellors"!!
Then realised after advice on this website that perhaps that was the wrong move and contacted PayPlan!! so hence i no longer want to proceed with the IVA with the "Debt Counsellors" and would rather go on a DMP with Payplan as my wife should be back to work in the next 2 months!!
Want to know can i stop The Debt Counsellors advancing to IVA stage0
