our wood pellet stove cost around £3000, which does not cover installation. It is italian and fully automatic, with a hopper. I believe the rhi will be dependent on having a good degree of insulation, which we have. I expect around £200-300 a year max and don`t think we will be hearing anything until 20120

are you pleased with it ?
is it mcz pellet boiler ?
the one we were looking at was mmcz musa hydro

we have an mcz musa hydro and yes we are very pleased with it. It has a lot of different timer programmes or you can set your own. We do however live in an eco house ie it has the most insulation you can get plus triple glazed windows so needs very little heat input. The heat given out would not be enough for a `normal` house, unless you want to be back and forth filling the hopper0
