    Afternoon

Ooooh...don't like the look of the new Pigsback :( I only had @550 points and only from the 10p banner things so no real harm done. I have £5 of whatever the new currency is but I can't see much for me on there.

Used another £12 Sainb*ry voucher yesterday and today got £1.64 from eb*y and found 5p roadkill. So new total is £15.36.
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.

I would like to try for fiver a day please. I suffer from ME and so may not be able to achieve this everyday but any amount saved/made would be a bonus.

This really is my lucky month! :) Just logged into my bank and found an extra £265 there!!! :T From 'Student Loans'. I'm assuming it's a course grant from the OU as that's about the right amount, but... I only had one in Feb, my new module only started on sat, and I haven't even applied for it! Will check it out later, but I'm adding it as it is extra money that was completely unexpected.
Ooh, and I've got 50p to add too (student discount) :).

That brings my total on day 6 to an unbelievable £680.44/£620 :rotfl: Pretty pleased with that, it makes up for the last three months of getting stuck around the £200 mark.

Oh, and I've also reached target! :DSweetpeas - can you please up my target again to £30 a day, I can't believe I'm saying that - £30 a day just sounds so ridiculous, lol.

I've just negotiated a £10 per month discount with Sky so will add that for today as it will effect this month's bills :)

I've just registered with the McCains site and I can't access most of the games and it won't let me do the survey. I have tried re-installing flash player as they suggested but to no avail.

Been shopping today and saved £3.89 from my discount card plus I saved £11 odd in discounts from multi saves and meat in the reduced section. Now i'm only going to add the staff discount as I always buy multi buys and reduced section stuff anyway :D

Oh also another £10.20 from ebay sales :)

Hmm. I seem to be doing miserablly at this. So far I have done nothing but spend during October! 1 Tesco food order - saved £20 on all the offers. 1 Tesco wine shop, saved 50-60% on wine for our wedding in March. (Spent £100 on well over £200 worth of wine.) Started Christmas shopping - avoided 'new releases' on cds, dvds etc and got some real bargains. (Tesco again). Ordered toys with 50% off. I will not give you any prizes if you guess where from....

So, I haven't actually 'saved' £10 a day, but I have saved about £200 on the things we need in the future. Does any of that count? Sorry - new to this game!
