Can some lovely person please see if they can get onto hotmail.com as I can't, but when I check it on downforeveryoneorjustme.com it says it's just me and that it should be working.
I was going to sit down for an hour and plough through a few surveys, but can't access my emails!!

Hmm, how strange. I'm getting a message to say that the webpage is unavailable
"The server at login.live.com can't be found because the DNS look-up failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website's name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network"

Any techies lurking around who have any suggestions? :)

  • If the DNS had failed completely then no-one would be able to access it.

Obviously you still have internet connection since you are posting on here but have you tried closing the page and re-opening it?

If not it could just be a google chrome error with regards to processing the page, I'm accessing it fine by Firefox if it helps?

I tried all of the above - was using Chrome, but also tried in IE. Also tried on the other computer in the house. But no. Turned internet router off and on again, still didn't work on either computer.
Was going to give up till later and get on with packing a couple of Ebay parcels, thought I'd try one more time, and voila!! Don't know why it wasn't working, or why it is now, but touch wood all is well in the world again!! :D

Hmmm, should still pack those Ebay parcels though!! :(

Well I had a great month - made and saved loads of money, and got almost all of my xmas shopping done for less than half of what it should have cost... but still fell short of target!!!

I'm going to forget about my target and just declare the total :p ... £859.72! :j:j:j

Congratulations on some great totals everyone! :j:beer::j
