Kingston are a quality brand and the data travellers are really good. I have 3 of them myself and we also buy them at work as standard as they are so reliable.
Cheers. Go through Quidco for Extra 5%"If toast always lands butter-side down, and cats always land on their feet,

Anyone noticed that Kingston 1 gig and over are a little slow ?
My son's just got a 2 gig to replace and old 512 meg (also Kingstone) and the t/f speeds are far lower on the new one. On the 512 a 200 meg file would load in about 25 sec's on the new one the same file takes over a minute !!!0 -
I got a 4gb from fleabay, branded with password protection for £21inc

True, thanks Brutus, didn't notice the delivery charge really cos I ordered 10 of them. have used DVDr.co.uk and they are a great company too, just like bigpockets. think i chose bigpockets because i could then put a 2 gig in my basket for £10!!
But thanks again.

In fact, YES, they can; not as memory, but using the new ReadyBoost technology in Vista, which speeds up random disk accesses by caching data on a flash drive. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ReadyBoost0 -
