Uses for Flat Lemonade

Does anyone have any uses for flat lemonade. We often have some left over from childrens visits ( no kids ourselves )
I have one of these pump things to keep the pressure in the bottle, but eventually its too flat to 'save' anymore.
And is it true that if put in to the water with flowers in a vase it helps keep the flowers fresh longer
Thanks

Flat lemonade is brilliant for vomiting children who need liquid with a bit of sugar. A donation maybe. it is supposed to help flowers can't remember which ones in particular though.0

Just because it's no longer fizzy doesn't mean you can't drink it.
Personally I hate fizzy drinks. So with things like lucozade for example I have to spend ages shaking the bottle to get rid of all that fizz before drinking. I wish they'd make a flat version!Stompa0 -
I use it just as I do the cheap version when it is fizzy - to dilute fresh orange and fresh apple juice. Even the most hardened OJ drinker doesn't notice a little dilution!!Softstuff- Officially better than 0070

Fizog I echo the vomiting children thing. DD threw up 5 times in 3 hours on Saturday. While we were waiting for the doctor to phone I boiled some up and cooled it. DD drank it happily and even asked for more! She didn't throw up again all day. The doctor did prescribe us paracetamol suppositries but they were only supposed to ease the pain and bring down her temperature so I don't know which worked but I'll definitely be doing the boiled lemonade thing again.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Its nice when used to make up squash instead of water, or heated up with honey for a pick me up.The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0

I'd just drink it - I like it much better when it is flat.0

Wouldn't be the acid in the fizzy drinks that clean the loo so well would it! Pity the teeth they wash...0

Apparently its also very good for drinking when you have cystitis, learnt this in a medical microbiology lecture few weeks ago, havent tried it myself though!0
