in Cutting tax
I'm considering emigrating to the U.S and have a UK registered property company which owns a small number of commercial properties. The revenue is generated by way of rent from the tenants in these properties. Will UK tax still be payable on dividends paid to me by my prop co?

I don't know the answer I'm afraid but I certainly hope so, we need every penny of tax revenue we can get, and it's even better if the person paying isn't using any services in the UK.0

Yes, it is still subject to UK tax
a) It's a UK company
b) it's income earned in the UK
don't forget that the ltd company has its own existance as a totally separate legal entity to you.Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j

Any advice given is as an individual, not as a representative of my firm.0 -
I assume from what you say that this will be a CFC so you will be taxed by the US on any Subpart F income.
This may increase your overall liability at both Federal and State levels on top of UK tax, so you will need specialist advice.0
