:mad: Excuse me??!! Not that anybody should need to explain themselves to you but my little boy has absolutely hundreds of books which he enjoys reading and he is far from thick! Even if he was, at least he is not a rude, arrogant pig!!

but she says the one above has got episodes not included in hers so will order it for her christmas

Why any parent would buy their kids the DVD and not the book is beyond me.

Parent must be as thick as the kids they are making thick.

"Sir Brainy" I would rather my son be slightly less intelligent and have manners - if you are an example clearly you cannot have both. Luckily for me I know that my son does have both!

I have bought this as a gift for a little boy for whom I bought the books for his birthday which he loved. Read the book watch the show, much like Jane Austin, Charles Dickens etc... the books will be read and the programmes will be watched... not that I or anyone should have to explain themselves to you!

DVD = watching some sh!te cartoon.

Book = reading a text that contains intelligent plot and a call upon thinking.
