Paid ebay, should I still pay debt collectors?

I owed ebay about £20 for putting a car up for sale which I later took down due to private sale.
I had a lot of problems with ebay last year where they did not give me £200 for about a year after my item sold, so I was in no hurry to pay them for an item I didn't even sell.
A debt collector sent me a letter saying I now owed them the balance.
On the same day I received the letter, I paid ebay what I owed them.
Today I got another letter off the debt collectors saying they know I paid ebay, but I still owe them £8.
Can they really make me pay this?

tell me to take a long walkDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
