Its just one of those things, the hair grows back differently sometimes which will cause it to become ingrown. Just tweezer it out and keep an eye on that area, as it may persist again. If it becomes worse might be worth a trip to the docs

    I've been Money Tipped!
legs at least might be better if you try incrreasing (or starting) exfoliation. I never have, but don't see why you couldn't use a gentle scrub on the underarms.

have tried that, as had 2 weddings in the summer so was exfoliating before fake tan and still happened :(
  • I went to the docs about this and he said it just happened, but advised using olive oil as a moisturiser? It has helped actually, along with making sure I exfoliate regularly. HTH

  • You might be putting too much pressure on the razor, which cuts the hair off just below the surface, causing ingrowns. Waxing breaks them off just below, which is why it does it too.

Exfoliate *every day* - not just before a fake tan - and they will be signficantly reduced, promise.

This doesn't work if they ingrow before they even reach the surface like mine do!
