Removal insurance

Hi,

I'm about to relocate internationally and am being quoted high amounts for removal (in this case marine) insurance. Wondered if anyone out there could recommend a good place to find cheaper quotes than the removal companies (Pickfords, Crown etc) offer?

    Have you checked with a regular insurance brokers like Swintons etc?

    Please don't just leave it out though, we had Whites move us to Germany, they sent the insurance forms to the wrong house so we never got them, we had to move anyway so had to do it with no insurance and Whites caused £800 worth of damage to our stuff, one was an antique statuette that could never be replaced.
    Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

    Normal insurance brokers don't seem to cover for this kind of insurance. Wondering if there are any specialists out there that forum members could recommend?
