This is a real bargain for a thermostatic shower mixer. I have had one now for over a year works great.
Remember this is a thermostatic mixer so if some nice person turns on a tap while you are in the shower the temp remains the same!
Thermostatic Shower Mixer at Lidl this Thursday:
* Temperature regulation from 20 - 48°C
* With scald protection
* ½" brass-chrome connector
* Made from chrome plated brass
* Free 5 year manufacturer's warranty
* Price per item
19.99*

Weren't these £9.99 (or £12.99 ?) at LIDL last year ???0
-
Be warned, these are unsuitable for low pressure or storage water heaters .0
-
They have always been this price . Mine was this price over a year ago.0

They were the same price last year.
If you pipes aren't rigidly fixed you will need one of these to fix it properly to the wall:

Or if you prefer Screwfix:

The Toolstation one is easier to use as the centres are already set!
The Screwfix ones look better but are dearer!Keep SmilingSite member number 24

Something like this http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/pro.jsp?id=31693&ts=01700
Because this one has a minimum pressure requirement of 0.1 Bar it needs a header tank only about 1 metre above it to work.
The Lidl one is probably 0.5 Bar so would need a tank approximately 5 metres above or better still a pump.Joe

I bought two of these last year (one to use and one spare!), quality isn't as good as the more expensive items, but not bad for the money.0

Would this work with a combi boiler ?0
