What do you think?
I think its nice, smaller than I thought compared to the other one in terms of space and a few shops are not open yet.
Was very busy and mobile phone signal is appalling so might make it difficult if you split up to shop.
I haven't tried any of the restaurants yet.
its lovely to have all the branded shops locally will save some time.

I went with my daughter last weekend (so the first Saturday it was open.......)! It was absolutely packed out and it was difficult to really get a feel for the place. Every single restaurant was packed with a massive queue - we ended up waiting over an hour to be seated somewhere.
Hopefully, the novelty will wear off and the restaurants etc won't be quite so busy!
Having said that, I'd have no hesitation in going again

I didn't notice any phone signal problems (on Vodafone), infact my dad called me while I was on the ground floor down the bottom by Waitrose to come and meet him outside the tube station so!
Had a nice meal at Wahaca but we timed it just right as there was a massive queue waiting to be seating the whole time we were eating.
I went in the first week and found it so busy I couldn't even be bothered to go in a lot of the shops, hoping it will calm down a bit in a couple of weeks and I'll head up there again. Its a bit small on the lower floors but once you get up the top theres plenty of space to walk around really.0 -
Major problems for me on T mobile it shows strong signal but calling and hearing what the other person is saying is bad - had to nip outside!
Yes me too. Did you sign up for the 2 weeks free parking? You can do it online too - hopefully things will get quieter likely when the parking charges go up!0 -
Love the M&S foodhall, that there is a Keihls, and will be a Warehouse too. Such a shame there isn't a debenhams..0

Yes I went on Thursday to buy birthday presents for my daughter.
I absolutely hate shopping unless it rummaging around charity shops second hand markets etc but it was very nice.
I was pleased to see there was a Lakeland that might be handy but I was bit disappointed in the Waitrose - better at canary wharf. Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

Quite some new addition to Stratford station entrances / exits on that northwest side of the tracks and a new small bus station called Stratford City which is served currently by Routes 97, 241, 339 and D8. Since Westfield opened, this means 241 and D8 now have a different Stratford end route and 97 and 339 serve Stratford for the first time.
Jamies Italian was heaving last weekend so we hopped on the Jubilee and had the run of the best one at Canary Wharf

Iv'e been there a few times, went today.
I love it and thinks its brillant that there are finally some decent shops round here..beats having to travel all the way to Oxford Street.
Love the M&S, think the Waitrose is fab as well, I actually prefer it to the Canary Wharf one.
hopefully it will quieten down a bit soon, I went in the evening on the opening day and it was a nightmare  lol0 -
I was in the Premier Inn there for a couple of nights last week, ate in a couple of the restaurants didn't get a chance to shop as I was working I will be back LOL0

I'm in London and travel around the whole place quite a bit but doubt it'll be somewhere on my hit-list soon, its just too far out and the transport/bus links with traffic are a nightmare, went through Straford about a fortnight before the whole thing opened and wondered just how bad the road/building works could get! It just seems so needless from what I could tell, why remove so many of the buses from stopping at the bus station? (please tell me that was a temporary thing!)
Then there is the semi-closed blackwall tunnel so none of my friends want to visit....still feel that the area needs a revamp, the shopping center across from Westfield is really just dire: a potential goldmind for whoever choses to take control though no one seems to care about it, it needs more variety of shops and with a better queue system in each!
Had assumed Westfield and the Olypmics would have forced the other center to do something, maybe someone to offer to buy up part of it and inject some style and money into the place but it appears not.0
