Can brother re-mortgage house without siblings realizing?

Hi, ownership of my parents home was transferred to their children in 1987 in order to get around inheritance tax. There is no mortgage on the property. It is in my name, my brothers name and my sisters name.
My question is- can my brother re-mortgage or get equity out of the property without myself and my sister knowing anything about it. He currently is the only person living at the address. He has worked in finance in the past but has got into money difficulties.
The deed to the property is held by a solicitor.
Is there anyway i can check if the house has been re-mortgaged?
thanks

He can't legally remortgage without your signatures (and application details such as income etc)I am a mortgage adviser. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
