Feeding on a budget without a freezer!!

Batch-cooking is out until you have a freezer. You'll need to cook enough for a couple of meals and keep them in the fridge for a few days before you eat them.
I found that I needed to shop twice a week for the next few days' meals and bought fresh veg because I couldn't use up any frozen ones quickly enough. Baked produce I kept in the fridge during the summer months.
It's tough but do-able but rather dull having to eat the same thing several times a week. I had to manage without a freezer for a couple of years until quite recently.0 -

I freeze everything, make huge meals and then divide it up and freeze it etc, freeze all my chicken/fish/bread/vegetables etc and I'm not sure how to eat cheaply without it
Soo, does anyone not have a freezer and if so, what do you do? or just any tips in general?
I've added your post to our existing thread on managing without a freezer where you should get some tips.
