I have read this thread but still don't get it - are items on the normal shelves going through at prices less than the SEL indicates on the shelf, is the SEL showing the lower price, or am I missing something? Is it a glitch or a sale? Had a look in my store and Barbie open top car, for example, was £25 SEL, Play Dough 24 pots £14.99 etc - so not reduced?
Many thanks

Didn't make it to Chesterfield, the weather is too nice for the afternoon to be spent in tesco! I'm gonna try Chesterfield & clay cross tomorrow. As far as i'm aware neither have any price checker points in store, unless qnyone knows different?Money, money, money, must be funny....in a rich mans world.

Basically many items that were previously reduced have been reduced further on Tesco system. However most stores have not changed the shelf edge labels to indicate the further reductions. In some stores they have all the items on a sale aisle, in some they are just on normal shelves.Money, money, money, must be funny....in a rich mans world.

Thank you - it also seems as inconsistent as ever, with these savings not available in all stores (even where they sell the identical item!). Oh well, the search goes on!

Hey ppl
Last night (midnight) H4yes BB had a couple of the Razor thing scooters on the sale area.
Duk3s Gr33n had the JLS dolls in one of the toy aisles right at the bottom (SEL £14.99)
Managed a PPig Grandpa Garage. What are the other PPig items and also noticed in both stores that Iggle Piggle/Upsy Daisy 12" (SEL £9.99) were full price.. is there a specific barcode to look for?
Also may have a spare Barbie Car available shortly (waiting for answer from family).

Clay X has 2 scanners in store - 1 on the toy aisle I think and the other on the clothing section.
But Chesterfield has none - the Pharmacy and the Electrical department are nice when you ask them to scan and when I spoke to 1 of the managers the other day they said any staff member would scan any item for you.Didn't make it to Chesterfield, the weather is too nice for the afternoon to be spent in tesco!
