Toy sale at tesco

I've been going into my local tesco's three or four times a day lately looking for all these amazing toy bargains that you're all finding but to no luck what so ever!

I just wondered if anyone had bought any extra Thomas the Tank or Peppa Pig things that they don't actually need and would be willing to sell on to me and I will cover all your costs?

North and East Yorkshire, also had a couple of looks in Hull too and nothing to be found but a 12p lint roller!

Maybe a road trip south will be in order next time there's something as exciting as this!

Perhaps! There was certainly loads to be had in Winch£ster store - and still new bits popping up. Although Salisbury (which is reasonably close by) had nothing on Saturday - although that store do seem to have their own set of rules! lol

Its a shame you've not found anything, will keep an eye out for extras

I was in Tesco Extra @ Thr33 Br1dges in the earlier wee hours (about 12.30am) and came out with some great bargains. :j

I got some 3 ring paddling pools at 30p each and 2 play parachutes for £1. There were loads of pools left and a fair number of 'chutes too if anyone is interested.

There were also Paper Jam guitars for £1.75 each yesterday morning, but they were all gone when I went back, but they might be some in other big stores.:cool:

I plan on going there after 9.30 would you say much left for younger children

Last night I managed to get 4 mega blocks farms for £1 each instead of £20 at west##od cro## not much else I could see. Sales assistant scanned one toy she said it was £3 the day before but had gone back up to £10!

I have been following this thread and just had a couple of questions.

I popped into our T last night and scanned some moon doughs. The one with the till on, which I have seen someone else get cheap, scanned at full price. I scanned a different one and it came up at £2, so I tried another one (the same) and this came up at full price. The same happened with the construction one ( good for boys!).

So discounts are not consistent for each item. Has anyone else found this?

I then put them through the self checkout, and one item came up as not recognised, I had two items the same, the second scanned fine, so put them both through with that bar code.

Does this make sense!!!!!

Also what do you say if the checkout person questions the price or do they not?????

Appreciate all the experience on here!!!

im going to walk up again after dropping my son off at school ( im going to be so fit by the end of the week lol)

the play-doh press in the pic , how much was that ?. also are they toy story playing cards ?. im going to make a new list lol. i give up on electrical stuff now. cant find much at all......

Hi Rach is all them on the farm boxes needed or will 1 be a spare on hunt for 1 for my boy.
