Toy sale at tesco

Hi all.
Went to my local T EXTRA today in bham (N3W 0SC0TT)
Tried to price check a few items but none were low priced.

I found the play doh puppy set SEL £12.97 scanning at £1.40 :j

I bought 4 and the woman on the til was waffling on about checking a website and when she scanned my items she turned to the other checkout girl and said "oh look £1.40" in a snotty tone she then said to me "have you left any on the shelf"
I looked at her and said i think there is one left haha.
I think that was really rude because if they check this website and got the bargains then she would have first pick of the bargains and wouldn't have to have a bitter tone with me haha

In the "sale" section at this store they had a few things marked up quite high with sale labels on, and when i went round to the toy section they have exactly the same price on the SEL! i think T are trying to make people think they are on sale so they buy it, which i think is disgusting!

been to b*tl*y this morning scanned a few toys but only managed to get puppies play doh for £1.40 and thomas airport for £3 still i'm happy.

oh and got stike it magazine for 1P with loads of lil freebies in the packet ds will be happy after school

Nothing im afraid sorry!

The shelves were empty except a few bits and pieces but not toys, well not bargain toys just the bouncy balls and a grandad dogs garage set which was a bit battered on the box.

If I do come across anything, tho my two stores are now empty of bargains, I will kae sure I keep you in mind

1 play Doh in Blackpool but nothing else. to add insult I got a polly pocket with the half price sticker on and the cashier noticed and had the price changed so I'll be taking it back tomorrow !!

Just been to my local store Welling. Got the zhu zhu pets pinkie and her two babies for £1.50 but thats it.

All the reductions are on old stock which they are getting rid of to bring in new lines, so most bargains would be at stores with bigger toy sections, ie Extra and Homeplus stores. Haven't found anything in my local Superstores.

was in my store today, there were 2 ladys in the seasonal isle with a cage of toys , (i recognised some of them mentioned on here) there were a couple of customers asking but they were reluctant in opening their cage, so i asked if the zhu zhu stuff was reduced they said no, its all full price, i go back 5 mins later and there is 6 members of staff around the cage, and i hear the saying 'this is a cheap one' looks is only 60p etc and them sharing things out amongst themselves, they left a few bits aside, i managed to get a play dough puppy set but they shut the cage up, seems a bit sneeky

does anyone know which moon dough sets are reduced..is it just the ocean one?

I went to my local store this morning, found a disgruntled crowd of (i assume) msers waiting on a big price drop, apparently they had been there since 5.30 (staff told me) when i asked the disgruntled lot was there bargains to be had they literally growled at me, how !!!!!!! rude!!

anyway, i couldnt be bothered standing about while they growled in my direction so i went on with my shopping , red grapes in a box marked £1.97 or 2 for £3 were actually only £1 each and maris piper marked at £1.74 were 94p
