what sort of age are they for then do you reckon? do yu need anything else other than the guitar or drums or whatever it is you buy? my eldest is only 4 and so i wander whether this may be too advanced for him. though he loves playing daddies guitar hero! x

No you dont need anything else, they kinda play themselves, you just strum and out comes the music, but then you can switch it to freestyle and learn chords.

Depends on your 4 year old, my son is almost 9, but has been nagging for a guitar for years, this is a happy compromise.

My OH wants one too now.

  • Thanks princesswoo, I ordered one to collect, thats still probably cheaper than paying P&P i would imagine. Roxy86, my son is almost six, so I would say the age bracket Tesco is showing of 4 - 8 is about right. While on the site I checked for the lumie things, shocking price - just shows they still have some and we mustn't give up as they might get some more on the shop floor.

  • I bought two of the guitars as I was told they were fab - when I bought them there must of been 50+ on the shelf and I told everyone I met - the next day they were gone - so Im glad I got them - my only query was that I bought one for son and one for a nephew - my eldest boy is 3 and eldest nephew 6? Are they too young?

I think they will be fine, my son goes through phases and NO way would I splash out on a real guitar as he'd be bored of it in a week.

Whats the worst that can happen?
