Hi, my daughter managed to get that sodor airport from durham, rennys lane store on monday, the SEL was £3 and £3 at checkout. Thats the only bargain we got as i didnt take a list. I thought there were scanners but theyve got none. It would have been so much easier if a scanner had been available (felt too embarrased to take a trolley load to get checked) Oh got a 30p paddling pool aswell. Did you manage to get anything at the stores you visited?

Does anyone know if there are still any bargains to be had in the Ch3lmsf0rd home store? Only i'm thinking about a visit in the morning but as I will be looking after my sisters children I don't want to drag them there pointlessly whilst I trawl around for cheap stuff, my own children find it boring enough in there as it is!

There is one by the books/cards but hasn't worked for years. Until recently there was a working one in the biscuits area but was removed a couple of weeks ago

FYI Te3co Xtra at Bishop has a price scanner in the drinks aisle - I found 2 of the Galt mobiles for £1.75 the other day, SEL £14 something. HTH:beer:

Hi i didnt get anything at either store! we had to keep taking things to the sales assistant to price check at durham, so have to admit we didn't check much, but they didnt have any sodor airports. My hubby went to kingston park where they have a scanner, checked everything on the list i gave him, nothing was reduced!!

OOhh thanks for that info, Bishop is a 45 min drive away but my mam and dad have caravan not far from there so could go at weekend. Ta very much. :beer:

I don't think it's just the yellow SELs that are scanning lower, I think some of the white ones with the little stars in the corner are as well. The little star means that the product is discontinued so always check price if you can, it may well be reduced! HTH

We only managed to get one because they didnt need scanning cos price was already on. I was expecting a scanner thats why i didnt take a list, just thought i just scan everything so was gutted when they had none. Anyway good luck hunting think we're gonna need it.
