  • Just picked up DTD on the Polly Pocket boat at Bidston Moss. Sticker says half price £12 but scans at £24 - two more left on shelf. Also got the last one of the Plasticine set with roller and cutters for £1.

Has anyone found anything in Bromborough?

Is this the Tesco version? That's in a big box priced up at £5? Thanks.

  • Hi,
I have been lurking on this thread for a few days, having never posted before, or been able to get any grabbits.
Thanks to this thread I have managed to get most of my Daughters xmas presents sorted at brilliant prices, I just wanted to say thank you all very much.
I hope over time I will manage to find some bargains to post and help you all like this thread has helped me. Its rather addictive tho :-)

Been to a few tescos- in T3lford/Shre**bury, nothing much left really, price checked a lot of toys but selling at SEL. :(

only managed to get the tesco tea play set, so if anyone is looking, we have a spare.
The only other thing they had was lego 6161 box, but was only half price at £6.50.

Am looking for iggle piggle and upsy daisy which all scanned at SEL so if anyone has found one and would like to swap please let me know otherwise am also happy to pay cost + P&P if anyone finds one.

My girls are too old for iggle piggle etc but i did see some in my local store today - can you let me know that the RRP is and i will check when i go back along later tonight and get back to you

  • The ones I got were like this. My 4-year old daughter likes hers and thinks it's barbie's handbag! I have a spare one if anyone has anything barbie, sylvanian or lego to swap.....

No, its Plasticine brand and it's a packet kind-of-thing, rather than a box.

Ok, thanks. I saw a big box of plasticine today with the Tesco logo on for £5 and wondered whether it would scan cheaper but didn't try.

Just got back from E**tbourne Extra. Was looking for electricals but spotted toys being reduced. Saw staff grabbing loads from 50p. Then bumped into a MOS I know and they were starting more toy reductions. Checked Monopoly Brighton Edition - down to £12.49 (£24.54 on Amazon) My kids too old now so had a quick look around.
Mostly characters like Fireman Sam & Scooby Doo.
    Probably worth a visit?
    Hope this helps someone.:D

thanks for this, where abouts were the reduced toys being put out? or were they just in with the normal toys?
    Many thanks..
