I'm not so crafty so I can't advise. I do remember when I was a little girl though my mum made a dressing gown for me out of a pink wool blanket. She even embroidered flowers and my name on the lapel. I loved it, I was the envy of all my friends and I was very cross when I grew out of it!No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!0
