Reducing refined products in diet

Options
Any tips? I'm hoping it might help my adult acne if I reduce the amount of refined foods I eat. Can you tell me what I should avoid? I'm veggie (no flesh, just eggs and dairy). I do my own cooking a lot, but I'm sure I can improve.

i only have a couple of tips which you probaby kow but here goes...

drink water till its coming out your ears! 2 litres a day!

its the sugar in things which irritate acne etc, so obviously cut right back on cakes and things, i think essential fatty acids are good for hair skin and nails so avacados are good. i have them in salads.

other than that, perhaps a supplement?

hope this helps and good luck!!!

oh, if you have a lot of cooking sauces, they have alot of sugar in them, some cereals do, its worth looking at the less obvious "sweet" things

That's a good point about sugar, actually. I've seriously reduced the amount of chocolate (mars, snickers etc) i eat, and it's already made a small difference.
