Lion King was last 'released' in 2005. 2nd hand copies still go for good (sometimes silly) money.

A diamond edition is out on October 4th in Blu Ray and Blu ray 3D. it will be a 2 disc, 4 disc and 8 disc(!) Trilogy set.

The Lion King will be out again as single DVD release on November 15th (once the BOGOF finishes!!).

(the above is all from Wikipedia so is definitely true but may relate the US releases )

Just looking further looks like Lion King is coming to the cinema in 3D on October 7th for 4 weeks (into half term) and then will be on DVD / Blu Ray early November - possibly 7th Nov?

Im not up on dvd prices for disney but would imagine its good to get this in the deal

The Rescuers were £4 in my local Tesco, making them just £2 each in this deal. I bought a couple to give at Christmas.

Saw this in local Tesco store this afternoon, & noted WIDE range in prices - Tangled most expensive, least £7...
So be careful which you pick? (disc or tesco...!)
