Hi on some meals I buy on whopsie it will say freeze on the day of purchase and use within 1 month is it purely a guideline what would happen if you had it for a few months ? Is there a health risk or would it spoil or wouldn't it matter. Thanks

It will go WAY over this time.
So long as your freezer don't play up I don't see why you should treat it any differently than you would any other frozen meal.

yes its just a guideline, I would not worry to much as long as you are not eating something thats years out of date,
Many years ago I did a stint a food storage factory and was told to change the sell by date stickers on frozen meat, the old was about 2-3 months out of date and I added a new sticker giving them another years sell by, I can say I never ate any of myself nor did I hear of any deaths caused by it.0 -
