Didn't put enough postage on the large letter and they have not received the letter yet after a week and a half, I did put my sender address on it so hoping it turns up to me! I was posting it from Plymouth to Newcastle and the return address is to Middlesbrough.
I just hope it hasn't been binned as the mortgage advisor needs proof of deposit and July / Aug pay slips which where in this letter!!
What can I do if the letter has been lost? Could the mortgage fall threw, i don't move into my house until December.
Thanks in advance.

It will take a few days longer and the lender will have to pay the additional postage plus £1 extra handling fee.
Whether they choose to do that is another matter. I suggest someone contacts the lender to see what their policy is in such situations.I am a mortgage broker. You will get your letter back and you will have to pay the correct postage. Tip. If you are ever posting important documents, send it guaranteed delivery, for the sake of a fiver there is always a signature at every handover of that letter. I am guessing you sent the originals.
In the worst case that these documents are lost forever, your lender should be happy with a statement letter from your payroll department stating how much money you have been earning.
Do make sure to use recorded delivery when sending originals. Most banks allow you to fax the documents.Nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. - Alex Supertramp0 -
