Need advice, re: Emu Australia boots

OK, so I need a bit of advice here because I'm not sure if I'm being OTT.
I recently ordered and had arrive a pair of Emu Australia boots (style is called Alba). To cut a long story short Javari messed up and in the end let me have them for £75 (they are £175 on the site). I had by then been through a lot with them!
I was just so relieved the whole mess was over I started wearing the boots tuesday and worn them each day since.
The skins are great quality, they are SO BIG (puffy) and very warm, don't flex as much as Ugg Australia's or fit as snugly as Fitflops boots but they will keep me warm (if feeling a little immobile and balloon like!:o)
They now veer to one side but only on one boot. It was obvious when I got the boots that one would be lop-sided but I just tried to trick myself into ignoring it and thought they'd even themselves out, its still early days, could take a few more weeks to show up but I don't know if I should leave it that long- complain again to Javari (think its their stockist issue rather then them selling shoddy boots).
Or am I being OTT about this? Is this sort of thing common with Emu's? I am just so used to Uggs, thought I'd try a short-cut and not pleased with the results. Is that my issue?
Advice greatly appreciated- epecially from those with the Alba style also!

From what I've read this isn't normally a problem with Emu's so I'd email Javari and they'll probably send you another pair. I bought Bearpaws from them which looked a mess (although new) and recieved a replacement pair the next morning no problem, and I think they have a years warranty (javari no emu).0

Thanks! I sent them an email. I also spoke to Emu (head office) and the lady suggested maybe it was a batch problem (being that the previous pair were also dodgy). I doubt they'll send me a replacement no matter how much I beg!!
I have them ready to return if they let me. They did bend over backwards to help me get these (long story) so not sure I'm in their good books at the moment anyway! I have my friend asking if they can be changed for a smaller size so she can buy them from me bit by bit. Wanted to ask Javari if they'd send me the next size down for her but feels like pushing it too much!!0 -
Just to update, Javari have said to send the boots back. No replacement will be made
Not in another size anyway as is not their policy to do so, not that it really affects me, my size was correct it was the boots that were faulty. (My friend had offered to buy them off me at a smaller size as when I initially bought them they were £a lot lower)
Its a shame though as I had lined up other styles I'd liked before getting these, I can't get anything else now as the prices have just gone up so much compared to when I first made my order, oh well, guess it wasn't supposed to be...0 -
Hi Jennie
I would get onto Javari as this is not meant to happen at all - one of the reasons I went for EMUs in the first place. I've got the stingers and they are 100% sheepskin, rather than the merino ones that EMU do - presumably the Alba ones are the same looking at the price and they certainly shouldn't flop over.
Good luck!
Sarah
PS would you recommend javari? I am looking to get another pair of Emus but have heard mixed reviews!!!!OK, so I need a bit of advice here because I'm not sure if I'm being OTT.

Hi, I returned them in the end- tbh they weren't looking 100% in the first place: you could already see the labels were lopsided when stitched on to one of the sides (the same side which then went on to fall at one of the heels).
Javari I would recommend- service is Amazon standard (being that they are part of Amazon this is probably why!) I had to call them (or the way the system works is that they call you) several times as I had ordered 3 pairs- each being a replacement for the last as I had issues with the boots. They have excellent customer service and do go far and beyond IMO, definetly would recommend and wouldn't hesistate to use them again.
Emu boots? I don't know if I would recommend- I went to try a pair on in Debenhams as someone had mentioned that they stocked them instore as I wanted to try them on for size. None fitted! It didn't matter what size I tried on, how buffed to the end my toes were, my heel would slip in every pair! Now I know I have broad feet- always have and as I run alot my feet have become "flat" (lost their arch somewhat and so broadened out even more. My feet seemed fine at the top or even too tight but not at all at the heel. The quality of skins was very good, felt like marshmellows on my feet and way puffier then Ugg Australia boots but given that the skins will flatten out and also give with time, they'd only become worse. It could just be the way my feet fit them but my advice is to try a pair on first. I've never had this issue with any other footwear or trainers.0
