Popcorn holders

Hi

I've been inspired by the idea of a movie hamper based in a plastic popcorn holder, to include dvd, popcorn, drinks, cinema voucher etc.

I can't find any large plastic popcorn holders anywhere online, they all seem to be small. Does anyone know where I could get hold of a couple?

Thanks:o

  • i got them from the dot.com gift shop last year
they only have small ones now
same with the sellers on ebay

making one this year as a birthday gift and had to get the small ones and put everything in a basket as i couldnt find the bigger ones:(
  • I'm sure I've seen something like this in Whittard's.... I may be wrong though.
  • I'm doing a movie hamper for a christmas pressie too! Mine's going to contain a lovefilm subscription/cinema voucher, DVD, popcorn holder, popcorn, sweets, crisps and a couple of cans of pop.

Got my popcorn holder from ebay, same as the dotcomgiftshop ones (LOVE that shop!) but I only wanted that one thing so saved a bit on postage by using ebay.

Thanks cattyboo. I've just tried that site, but it doesn't seem to be working :(.

    I'll keep trying!
  • Oh no! Just clicked on it again and it seems to be up and running now...

  • When I did one I just asked at the cinema for an extra tub. Not plastic I know, it was cardboard but thats always an option :D
  • Home bargains are selling pop your own popcorn but it is in the popcorn box containers instead of bags so once its popped it looks like the ones from the cinema and they are only 79p each!

Cattyboo - I can put items in my basket, but when it comes to registering or logging in the site just freezes.

Its a shame because thats exacty what I'm after!

I'll keep trying and if it doesn't work I might have to go down the cardboard box route:(

    Hi,

I am also looking to make movie hampers and have found these popcorn holders:

    http://www.bestbirthdays.co.uk/party-accessories/platters-bowls/popcorn-bowl

I think at 28cm along the widest part at the top and 10x10cm square base they should be big enough for a few snacks and a dvd :)
