My son has asked for an x box 360 for christmas. Does anyone know of any offers around at the moment.
I've been checking on ebay, which is still an option, but incredibly sometimes they dont seem to sell much cheaper than new ones!
Thanks!

Perhaps try Game or Gamestation, they sell second hand and refurbished ones at pretty decent prices, usually do some game bundle with it as well0

I would rather get a PS3 because you don't pay for online :money:0

I've never used it myself but ive heard if you use the Xbox live feature.. in gaming everyone shouts abuse at you and any age is open to this abuse!0

What a pointless comment. are you a troll? If so I'll brighten up your bridge by pointing out that all the PSN members who joined before April are paying for having online. Unless, of course, they have cancelled their credit cards and changed their names and addresses to stop their details being cloned.I would rather get a PS3 because you don't pay for online :money:Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0 -
I suppose it is possible, just as it is possible with a telephone. But in the 10 years (I was on the beta) I have been using XBox Live it has never happened to me. If it happens there are ways to report the person that does it and they can be banned.I've never used it myself but ive heard if you use the Xbox live feature.. in gaming everyone shouts abuse at you and any age is open to this abuse!Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. Of course it can happen if you are having open conversations with other players, just like it can happen in the classroom, in the playground and at workplaces etc etc
BUT not everyone shouts abuse
As for the question, I would look at new ones, although having said that game/gamestation do offer long gtees on their SH gear0 -

i have xbox360 and ps3.
xbox is better online, plus it has a much better online store with great games, there is no abuse on the headset, if you hear something you dont like, you mute each player as you see fit.
ps3 is free online, and you get what you pay for....hacked accounts and credit card details!
my local shop sells 2nd hand xbox and ps3 for £80, just buy 2nd hand with a receipt.Target Savings by end 2009: 20,000
current savings: 20,500 (target hit yippee!)
Debts: 8000 (student loan so doesnt count)
new target savings by Feb 2010: 30,0000 -

you can limit it, you can only play with friends, you can mute players who shout abuse at you, you can also choose to avoid players who you dont like due to something they said, you also dont need to use the mic.
OP try hukd for an xbox, thnk i saw 1 from amazon for £180 for the 250GB model plus at least a game(if not a suitable game you can always trade it in/sell it and use what you get from it to buy a more suitable game.)0
