Tesco DTD burgers

Hi. i'm hoping some experienced msers can help me.
Yesterday I bought 24 packs of Tesco 10 beefburgers. 12 in one store and 12 in another (for a school fete, not for us!)
The 10 pack of burgers was being discontinued in the 3packs for £10 and 4 packs for £12 offer but it was still available and advertised at this price online yesterday and in the stores.
The first Tesco store has put the burgers through at £4.00 each totally £48.00 but has not removed any discount. The second store, which I visited several hours later has put the burgers through at £4.00 and then at the end of the receipt removed £12.00 from the cost so the burgers cost the correct price of £36.00.
So obviously I was overcharged at the first tesco. I know that they will try to say the offer had ended but I have the receipt from the other tesco, visited later, as proof that they should have removed the discount.
Is there any chance of me getting money back if i go in tomorrow- 2 days after purchase and how does the DTD work? How much would I get back? I am especially keen to pursue this as the less money we spend on burgers the more our school will get:D
Thanks for your help

go back with your reciept, they should honor the discount. take both reciptslife is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0

It's a long term offer so wouldn't have ended. Did you buy the exact same burgers? In some cases there are similar products not included in the offer.0
