Redundancy Post Discharge With IPA

If you are post discharge with an IPA but get made redundant, what happens to your redundancy pay out?

I've Just been offered a promotion that is too good to turn down but it means I will get an IPA for sure as its a 9k pay rise. The only worry is the job carries a much higher risk of redundancy than my current job which is quite safe. I'm worried that if I take the job then get made redundant if the OR can claim the redundancy payment then im jobless and pennyless. Woundering if im better staying in my safer job.

Thanks
