I know that generally fruit and veg shops are far cheaper but i need to get some stuff in this evening for my little boys dinners or he'll have no food tomorrow so asda or tesco are the only options. what would everyone think would be cheaper for fruit and veg?:money:

Out of Tesco and Asda, i'd say Asda.
But have you got an Aldi? I find fruit & veg there is much cheaper, and much better quality.:beer:0 -
No idea as I don't shop in either. Why don't you just check their websites so you can compare the prices of the specific fruit & veg you want to see which supermarket has the best offers on the products you want at the moment.

Tesco have some 50p offers on at the moment for F&V (I didnt notice all of it but there was poatoes and carrots for sure). Personally I think its all much of the same with the 2 shops so maybe go with whichever one is closest.2 adults and 3 children DD (14), DD (12) & DS (10) :smileyhea and 2 mental beagles.

If u can wait until about 8pm most Tescos do big reductions and most of the stuff has loads of fridge life......I bought reduced tomatoes over aweek ago and put them in the salad drawer with kitchen paper under....just sliced some for salad they are as good as some i've paid full price for.0
